and thankyou you at the Greenleaf Deli for your part in making
our trip to Ashland successful. The box suppers went over very
well--everyone commented on how fresh the fruit salad was, how
delicious and healthy-seeming the oatmeal cookies, and
how tasty the sandwiches. Plus, they loved how easy the boxes
made eating on the bus, and were so grateful for the sanitizing
hand wipes. How thoughtful! We served wine on the bus, and the
boxes also made a secure spot to set down their tumblers without
fear of spilling on their laps.
Our trip was overall a great success. We were amazed at our
good luck weather-wise, as we left and returned to rain in Chico,
but felt not a drop in Ashland! We will be returning in October,
and will plan on ordering much the same from you for our supper

Greenleaf Restaurant and Deli has been my choice for a meal
out.
Daniel Greenblatt, the Owner, caters not only
to the tourists, but he is especially sensitive to local customers
and their tastes. His choice of staff is exceptional. The wait
people are always courteous,efficient, unobtrusive and helpful.
The menu is varied for all tastes, mine being
natural, organic foods. I especially like the fact that the
water is filtered by Multi-Pure. My favorite time of day is
late morning, time for a refreshing brunch. I always chooseto
be inside with a view of the creek. No matter the time of year,
the creek and its environs produce a relaxing, pleasant atmosphere
in which to enjoy a meal.
If you're looking for a great breakfast, or want
a box lunch for a picnic in the park, or a tasteful supper before
the plays, Greenleaf is your best bet!"

a year since 2001, and your restaurant has always been a wonderful
experience. This year over the June 10th weekend you ended up
being almost our exclusive restaurant. The food and menu are
excellent the service timely, friendly and accurate. The only
change I could think of that would make me happier is if you
were to serve some mixed drinks (Crater Lake Punch from a competing
restaurant comes to mind). Keep up the good work."

"The Greenleaf restaurant is my favorite
place to eat in Ashland. Service is prompt, the delicious food
arrives hot, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. I like a
back table or a seat with friends in a bright green booth across
from the prep counter. Here, I delight in watching young men
and women circle around Daniel like Sufi dancers.
Greenleaf's owner, Daniel Greenblatt has a respectful management
style honed over years of practice and the intention to serve
both his workers and the community. Adept at handling multiple
tasks he juggles vendors who walk in with orders and questions,
while coaching new cooks or servers and greeting customers with
his warm smile. Summer days, the outdoor terrace provides a
relaxed view of Ashland Creek in Lithia Park or an inconspicuous
opportunity to observe the vitality and glow of the Ashland
tourist community.
The food rests on simple quality and freshness. Baked goods
and waffles are moist and succulent--well worth every calorie.
I love the steamed veggies with rice and my Sunday delight is
lox and a bagel with cream cheese, cucumber, sprouts and tomatoes--yum.
You could search the western states and not find a better hot
chai.
Enjoy a box meal before the "Green Show" or for a
good lunch during workshops or cultural events. My latest idea
is to get a box lunch to support those difficult flights from
Medford to San Francisco.

"While in Ashland we happened across the Greenleaf Restaurant,
what a find. Dinner was the Teriyaki Stirfry, Stuffed Squash,
and a Chicken Salad Sandwich. All were excellent, the squash
was full of fresh vege's, all crisp and full of flavor. The
stirfry' had homemade teriyaki that was so good when my daughter
was full she moved her plate to the center of the table to be
devoured by the rest of us. The Chicken Salad Sandwich was moist
on very fresh bread and well balanced with lettuce and tomato.
Breakfast the next morning was even better. Eggs Benedict and
Marionberry Pancakes, both outstanding. The Eggs Benedict was
as good as I have ever had, the poached eggs had firm whites
and runny yolks, the Hollandaise was light, creamy and full
of flavor, the potatoes were crisp on the outside soft on the
inside and well seasoned. All my wife and daughter would say
about the Marionberry Pancakes was "we are coming back
here again, these are great!"
The service was good both times we were there. The food was
served hot, the glasses were never empty, and both servers were
well informed on the menu and the specials being offered. I
am looking forward to visiting my daughter so we can return
to the Greenleaf for another meal."

"We were in Ashland for the Shakespeare festival and stopped
into Greenleaf because it was a short walk from the festival.
We were immediately greeted at the door and seated outside by
the creek. The food (Greek salad and a Linguini Alfredo with
Grilled Chicken) was obviously freshly prepared, and our server
happily brought an extra plate. We really enjoyed the food and
experience! "

seated outside by the creek. With fresh air and the sound of
rushing water we had some of the best food on our entire trip
.The menu was large and the choices were hard to make. The salads
were fresh and crisp and we were told they are made every hour.
We came back for dinner. The specials were really special with
chicken or fish with great fresh veggies .No meat but you never
miss it. The prices were right on and the service was polite,
quick and cheerful."
